Rene’s Vacuum Service Inc. has been a long-standing family business in the community since 1972. Celebrating 50 years of service is a milestone anniversary for the family. It all started with Rene and Anita Maurier, the founding family members offering Vacuum Truck services to clean septic’s and hog barns and pits in Legal and area. It later expanded for Rene offering services as far North as Fort McMurray and many other towns and municipalities cleaning sewer lines, catch basins, manholes and Oil and Gas sector services. The focus of the business has always been supporting and servicing the sewage waste removal for residents and farms while maintaining the commercial sectors as needed for all types of Vacuum Trucks, Sewer flushing or Hydro-Vac services as requested

In 2004 Karen and Don Shrum continued to manage the family business with their staff and their son, Ty Shrum (third generation family). Offering full Vacuum Truck services to clean septic tanks, holding tanks, portable toilet rentals, pressure washing, Hydro-Vac services, sump cleaning, car wash bays, grease traps and any liquid waste removals to be hauled away. Servicing the local areas of Legal and Sturgeon County and surrounding areas, Counties, Towns, and Cities. Rene’s Vacuum Service Inc. is here to offer its services wherever needed. All the staff are certified and provide a professional and friendly experience for your services rendered.

The family would like to mention that Rene Maurier passed away on December 8, 2021, and will always be remembered as the founder of Rene’s Vacuum Service. We look forward to continuing the involvement he had encompassed with community spirit, and his legacy of providing all Vacuum Truck and related services to Legal, the County and all surrounding areas as it has been for the past 50 years.
